Well, Sat. Oct, 3rd (Spaceport America Fly-In day) was a poor day for aerial photography – lots of haze, running from thunderstorms, waiting out thunderstorms at the airport, etc. . . , plus 95% of my image and video files got corrupted 🙁 . . . memory card issues? … or, if you wanna go out on the edge (since it involved multiple cards & devices), . . . we were flying by active military exercises taking place at WSMR & Mac Greggor Military Ranges, & I imagine there was a lot of electromagnetic energy bandying about. Oh well, “stuff happens”, as they say. It was a fun day nonetheless. The Spaceport building is impressive. I hope it starts to see some real action soon.
Here’s a few samples of the surviving pics I was able to recover from the memory cards.
Enjoy!
Starting out the morning
Prepping the plane . . .

Unprocessed hazy aerial mountain photo illustrating the visual flying conditions that day. We also spent alot of effort avoiding roving thunderstorms as well.
Will post more pics later.
